At this time, the future is pretty uncertain. Tim and his doctors continue to aggressively treat this disease, but because his case is so rare, it’s hard to know what comes next. So for now, we are doing our best to stay positive and enjoy our family, friends & pets.
The other reality that our family is facing is the expense of medical care. While with some support from our immediate family, we were able to pay off the debt of the 2024 surgery, in 2026 alone, we have amassed over $30,000 in medical debt. This is on top of the myriad ways life just gets expensive when going through stressful or unprecedented times. Also uncertain is Tim’s longevity in the workforce (although anyone who knows him, knows he LOVES his job and will work as long as he can).
